Interpretation

Function Perhaps some occupational buildup, as of an outdoors area, in connection with the storage jar & scattered bones, etc; poss an out-of-doors area on the fringes of the LIR2 establishment W & upslope
Stratigraphy remarks Apparently an IR2 locus, esp to the upslope W around the storage jar; it seems to run up to & over Wall 5 (or its projected line), & also up to the pit fill of L 3; it is then later than both the wall & the boulder pit fill, & most lie above a layer contiguous or equal to the pit lining (Pit 4)
