Ash layer running N-S with black & white burned pockets; mudbricks in SE corner; slopes down toward S in E balk to 905.82; this explains why we had IR2 sherds in L 75 & 76; the slope was not recognized while digging; thus 69 was deeper than numbers given in the measurements
