General Information

Locus Type Architecture

Interpretation

Function If this remnant was ever part of a complete structure, no traces of it remain & no indication of its function can be determined; it is the middle row of 3 wall frags (3, 12, 17) aligned roughly NW-SE, all sitting on different levels in a tiered fashion
Stratigraphy remarks The wall remnant was very close to the surface & no occupation surfaces were found with it; it is unclear whether it sits on top of Surf 21 (which would then be a surface sloping to the N) or cuts Surf 21; along with Wall 3, it is prob the latest element in the square

Remarks

Remarks:

2 outter rows of small boulders with one row of smaller boulders in center; no chinkstones; the wall consists of only 6 stones, but they are too well-orientated to be tumble; like Wall 3, it is a small remnant with no apparent relation with the surrounding architecture or earth loci
