Remarks

Remarks:

This locus is mostly ash, some grayish, some black, randomly dispersed. Did particle and texture analysis in multiple places because of the variation. Readings for particle analysis. The first four were taken randomly fro different parts of the locus. The last one marked as clay is from the clay layer immediately on top of the stones. Field numbers included on the first four for reference as these were sent for flotation. Field # 002: 40/30/20/10 Field # 003: 40/30/25/5 Field# 004: 40/40/20/0 Field # 005: 40/30/20/10 Clay: 40/30/25/5 We took five total samples for texture analysis and the all were in the clay loam spectrum.
