Function:
May have joined with Surf 16 to form some type of approach to the spring; may originally have been as high as Walls 9 & 11 & the stones may have been used in the W wall of the well when Pit 21 was dug
Stratigraphy remarks:
ER pottery was latest on top; however, some LR sherds were found beneath it; appears that the wall was put into place at the beginning of LR
