Function:
Occupational debris with Hearth 30, Wall 38 & upper courses of Wall 21; grinding stones & spindle whorl suggest a domestic work area--perhaps primarily for women; likely an outdoor area associated with house compound to N & E
Stratigraphy remarks:
Though not defined as a surface, the lower 10 cm contained occupational material related to the same phase as Hearth 30 & Wall 38; late pottery in first pail is prob interseasonal contamination
