Remarks

Remarks:

Sub balk left in NW corner perpendicular to Wall 3 to the NW corner; very soft by Wall 3 & with no rubble there; dug out this soft soil but it was irregular & not like a trench; late pottery suggests it was part of the fill in an erosional channel
