Interpretation
Function:
Semi-circular wall installation of uncertain function; connects with one small opening near E balk; little pottery & significant amount of bones within the structure indicates it may have been used as an animal pen
Stratigraphy remarks:
Placed over a thin layer of compact earth (L 8); was prob laid down to even out bedrock & then the stones were laid on them; L 8 also seals against it, as do 5, 7 & 9, all layers within the structure, thus, giving them a later date
