Interpretation
Function:
Unburned destruction tumble from Wall 4 & perimeter wall when it was shaken down not long after construction (i.e. very new looking Walls 4 & 5; very slightly used cobble surface (over 18 & under 19)
Stratigraphy remarks:
A pit in the E corner was filled with a lot of LIR2/P & EIR2 pottery sherds; this contaminated the readings untill it was recognized; see L 19 for a better idea (LB)
