Interpretation

Function Mudbrick debris from wall superstructures that fell into room bounded by Wall 5 on the E & Wall 8 on the W; perhaps also includes earth & nari fill levelling atop Wall 12
Stratigraphy remarks Later than structure comprised of Walls 5, 8, & 11, but ealier than erosional debris & Wall 3; if bottom of this debris was really a fill, packed over Wall 12, that may have ben levelling for a now-destroyed surface that was comtemporary with or later than the original construction of the room

Remarks:

Very dense bricky material; some carbonized bits; at bottom is Clay: 50; Silt 35; Sand 15; A 20; AS 10; SR 30; R 50; bottom 10-15 cm composed of very densely packed earth & nari with some sizeable nari chunks so almost appeared like a plaster surface; seems to have been a packing around the uneven stones of Wall 12 below to level the area within the structure
