Clearly separable from 13 beneath; began digging on the W side; it is much looser, containing more pottery, and of a different color; it appears as a sloping sort of pit, containing only rubble as is evident in the drawing of the subsidary balk; the slope measurements are the base if this pit recorded on L 16
