Coming down on a Cyclopean wall; digs like L 34, Surfs 14 & 6; the ash inclusion mentioned in L 32 seems to be here also; L 17--the ash layer--may just be lenses of ash in this layer; rodent hole at Loca 17; this layer is over Wall 36 but also seals against at least the top course of it, at least on the E; the same ash and nari flakes are present here as in L 34, 14, & 6; most of pottery comes from along W 36; soil less compacted on W of Wall 15
