Rocks in NW corner removed as part of this locus; one of the pithoi (#1) in L 5 (pails 111-113) was resting on this surface; surface very clear in N balk; when the E balk of 7K41 was removed, it was a nice surface; in 7K42, it was quite distorted by rock tumble from the walls
